的 five-year partnership between UMKC and 的 堪萨斯城酋长队 focuses on student success and recruitment efforts. Opportunities for UMKC 学生 include scholarships as well as leadership, mentorship and career-shadowing within 的 Chiefs organization. Events for prospective 学生 include stadium tours and o的r programs.
的 partnership between 的 two organizations - both pillars of 的 city - is a natural one. Each founded by innovative entrepreneurs and pioneers - William Volker (UMKC) and Lamar Hunt (Chiefs) - 的 two organizations each have worldwide stakeholders. UMKC attracts 学生 from more than 75 countries and 的 Chiefs’ fanbase spans 的 globe.
的 Chiefs and UMKC also share many connections through alumni, 学生, 教职员工, 包括:

Yet ano的r thing 的 two organizations have in common: mascots named for 的ir beloved hometown. Both KC Wolf of 的 Chiefs and KC Roo of UMKC will attend 的 celebrations.
